Col ,Graham and myself arrived at about 9.45am after passing through some heavy rain storms on the way only to find hardly a breath of wind on the beach,so much for the force 5 to 6.
a 15 mins did the job and by 10.15 am up came the wind and out came the 10mtr airblast, the biggest kite that i had brought that day,but combine that with the 145 mad eel and what a combination.the tide had just turned and the sea was well messy, chop coming from all directions.
Col went out on his 16mtr storm2 and his demon of darkness, whilest Graham put up his 16 mtr cabrinah and his newly aquired 145 mad eel board.
Ben turned up a bit later and looked to be having a great time, only learnt this season.
we had a great time with the sun shinning above us leaving the beach at about 2.00 pm to head for home and get Col of to his night shift .
greetings to sonicseal and pal on their mountain boards, also to the lone wndsurfer who tried time after time to get going in the lightish winds,as he said, he needs to take up kitesurfing! never was a truer word spoken.
great to be back at black rock again; park on thebeach, loads of great pools to play in, rides over to Harlech, sunshine!
